Nemo wurde 1983 in Nürnberg geboren
und lebte seitdem immer im Bereich
des Städtedreiecks Nürnberg-Fürth-Erlangen.
Mit 13 / 14 hörte er Bone Thungs n Harmony
und Südstaatenmucke wie Outkast und
Three Six Mafia - damit war er wohl der
erste in seiner Schule (ein Gymnasium,
an dem viele Schüler auch aus wohlhabenderen
Kreisen waren...)
Erst mit 16 begriff Nemo, dass Hip Hop eine
kulturelle Bewegung mit weit mehr Facetten
als Rapmusik ist.
Nachdem er die ersten Tracks auf deutsch
gehört hatte, begann Nemo mit 17 selbst zu
freestylen, Texte zu schreiben und aufzunehmen.
Bereits mit 20 releaste er sein erstes Album
“Abfall“, das beim Berliner Produzenten Krutsch
aufgenommen war, über ein kleines Nürnberger
Label namens Fist of the South Entertainment.
Nachdem das Label nur wenig Engagement zeigte,
gründete Nemo 2006 die eigene Plattform
“Nemesis Records“ und brachte noch im selben
Jahr drei Releases raus: Eine Neuauflage des lange
vergriffenen “Abfall“, die Kompilation
“Fragmente 2000-2006“ und das zweite Album
“Omen“, das von Logical produziert wurde.
2007 erhielt Produzent Spooky Dee von
Sandra Scherm (Radio Z Nürnberg) den heißen
Tipp sich Nemo Nemesis anzuhören.
Da Spooky Dee von Nemo sofort angetan war
und beide die gleichen Signale ausstrahlten,
war die Unterschrift bei Flytime Music nur
noch reine Formsache. |  |  | |
Nemo was born 1983 in Nuernberg and he has
been livin' within this city triangle ever since then.
He started listenin' to Bone Thugs n Harmony and
southside raps like Outkast and Three Six Mafia - and
he was probably the first kid at his school, feelin' these
styles (a high school with mostly wealthy
and middle-class students).
Nemo had to turn 16 to understand, that Hip Hop
is a cultural movement with much more facets
than just Rap music.
After hearin' first german rap tracks, Nemo started
to freestyle, to write lyrics and to record by himself
at the age of 17. He was only 20 years old when he
dropped his first album called "Abfall", recorded at the
studio of a producer from Berlin called "Krutsch".
This album was released by a small independent label
from Nuernberg called "Fist of the South Entertainment".
But as this label was not really pushin' the whole thing,
in 2006 Nemo brought to life his own platform called
"Nemesis Records" and had no less than 3 releases in
the same year: A re-release of his "Abfall" album
(which was sold out before), a compilation called
"Fragmente 2000-2006" and his second album "Omen",
produced by Logical.
In 2007 producer Spooky Dee got a very important
hint from Sandra Scherm (from Radio Z Nuernberg)
to check out Nemo Nemesis.
Spooky really catched the vibes of Nemo from the
beginning and both are down to pull into the same
direction, so signing to Flytime Music was just a
simple formality for Nemo. | | | | |
